Nancy and Edwin Marks Collection Gallery: Treasures from the Collection
On view October 16, 2003–May 2, 2004The inaugural exhibition in the Nancy and Edwin Marks Collection Gallery, Treasures from the Collection was curated by Director Paul Warwick Thompson. Through Thompson’s personal perspective, the installation examined the range of the Museum’s collection, which spans twenty-three centuries and five continents, creating conversations between both clearly related and dissimilar sets of objects.
