Principal of Ken Smith Landscape Architecture in New York, Smith has worked on a wide variety of national and international projects in more than twenty years of both private and public practice. He is particularly committed to creating parks and public spaces in order to improve the quality of urban life. Smith lectures extensively on landscape architectural theory, and his work will be represented in the 2006 National Design Triennial.
