Enrique Norten

Enrique Norten is a principal at the New York- and Mexico-based architecture firm TEN Arquitectos, which he founded in 1986. TEN Arquitectos’ projects in Mexico City have included the National School of Theater at the National Center of the Arts, Hotel HABITA, and Televisa Mixed Use Building. Among their current commissions is the Guggenheim Museum in Guadalajara, and the Visual and Performing Arts Library in Brooklyn, N.Y. The firm has participated in exhibitions internationally, including the Guggen¬heim Museum in Bilbao, Spain and New York City, the Venice Biennial and the Museum of the City of New York. Norten is the Miller professor of architecture at the University of Pennsylvania and Eero Saarinen visiting professor of architectural design at the Yale School of Architecture. Norten served as a juror for the 2006 National Design Awards.
