Phillip Lim's 3.1 phillip lim women’s wear collection has received critical acclaim since its debut in fall 2005. Lim's aesthetic of understated, effortless elegance is achieved through his use of classic silhouettes and luxurious, carefully selected fabrics. Lim continues to develop his brand with the launch of a men’s wear line earlier this year. His thoughtfully constructed clothes are infused with subtle nuance, resulting in a look that is imperfect yet polished, and thoroughly contemporary. Lim was nominated for the 2005 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Award and he is nominated for the 2007 CFDA Swarovski Award for Womenswear.
