Smart Design

Smart Design’s principals, Davin Stowell and Tom Dair, bring almost thirty years of experience to the field of product design. With offices in New York, San Francisco, and Barcelona, the firm’s multidisciplinary approach brings together experts in graphic design, business, and engineering to create products that connect with the consumer. Many of their signature designs, ranging from soap dishes to toothbrushes to kitchen tools, are part of the everyday domestic landscape. Smart Design has created award-winning designs for a range of clients such as OXO International, Hewlett-Packard, Johnson & Johnson, and Samsung. Their work was included in the 2003 National Design Triennial.
