Corporate Membership Program

Design gives business its competitive edge in our global age. Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum’s Corporate Membership Program provides companies ideal access to the world of design by offering unique opportunities of Museum involvement for its key executives, employees, and guests. Benefits include free employee admission and the opportunity to host special events at the Museum. A significant portion of your contribution is tax-deductible. Corporate Patron $10,000

Free admission for employees and one guest with valid company ID.
The opportunity to host an event in the Museum’s major event spaces, including the Great Hall and the Arthur Ross Terrace and Garden.
20 guest passes for free admission.
A 10% discount for employees in the The Shop at Cooper-Hewitt and Café with valid company ID. A 20% discount for employees during special shopping days in the Shop.
The opportunity to invite up to 25 employees and guests to a private exhibition tour or behind-the-scenes collection event.
Executive membership for three company-designated representatives (benefits described below).
Four additional invitations for employees or clients to major exhibition openings, by request.
Acknowledgement as Corporate Patron in the Museum’s Annual Donor List, the Smithsonian Institution’s Annual Report, and on the Museum’s web site.

Corporate Contributor $5,000

The opportunity to host an event in the Museum’s Lecture Room or its lower capacity event spaces, including the Barbara Riley Levin Conservatory and the Agnes Bourne Bridge Gallery.
15 guest passes for free admission.
A 10% discount for employees in the The Shop at Cooper-Hewitt and Café with valid company ID. A 20% discount for employees during special shopping days in the Shop.
Executive membership for two company-designated representatives (benefits described below).
Three additional invitations for employees or clients to major exhibition openings, by request.
Acknowledgement as Corporate Contributor in the Museum’s Annual Donor List, the Smithsonian Institution’s Annual Report, and on the Museum’s web site.

Corporate Associate $2,500

10 guest passes for free admission.
A 10% discount for employees in the The Shop at Cooper-Hewitt and Café with valid company ID. A 20% discount for employees during special shopping days in the Shop.
Executive membership for two company-designated representatives (benefits described below).
Two additional invitations for employees or clients to major exhibition openings, by request.
Acknowledgement as Corporate Associate in the Museum’s Annual Donor List, the Smithsonian Institution’s Annual Report, and on the Museum’s web site.

Executive Membership Package

Each company-designated representative will be given a personalized membership card entitling him or her to unlimited free admission, a 20% discount in the The Shop at Cooper-Hewitt, exclusive discounts at local restaurants and businesses, and reciprocal benefits at other museums across the country.
Invitations to gala exhibition opening receptions, annual Members’ Garden Party, special behind-the-scenes tours, and other exclusive events offered at the Benefactor individual membership level.
A selected Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum publication and a Smithsonian Engagement Calendar.
One-year subscriptions to the Museum’s National Design Journal and award-winning Smithsonian Magazine.
