National Design Month
National Design Month
National Design Month gathers the nation’s leading designers and communities around the country to celebrate the power of design in our everyday world. Held in conjunction with the National Design Awards, National Design Month highlights the work of Award winners through a series of free education programs during the month of October including talks, tours, workshops, mentoring sessions, and more.
Watch the 2021 winner videos and explore some of the online resources, including Design Around Town: An Activity Book, the Design Career Toolkit featuring advice from National Design Award winners, and a Smithsonian Learning Lab on taking action on climate change.
