If you are entitled to complimentary admission through one of the categories listed below, please check in at the Visitor Experience Desk on-site with valid ID; advance tickets are not required. If you have any questions, please email Visitor Experience.

Other Museum Staff

Staff and docents with valid museum ID from other museums receive free admission for themselves and one guest.

Culture Pass

Visitors with reservations made through Culture Pass receive free admission for themselves and one guest. Please check in at the Visitor Experience Desk on-site with valid ID and Culture Pass voucher; advance tickets from Cooper Hewitt are not required.

Museums for All

Visitors with SNAP/EBT cards receive free admission for the cardholder and three guests.

Museums ON US

Visitors with Bank of America cards receive free general admission for the cardholder during the first full weekend of every month as part of the Museums On Us Program. Please see eligibility requirements here.

American Association of Museums (AAM)

AAM members with current AAM cards receive free admission for themselves and one guest.

International Council of Museums (ICOM)

ICOM members with current ICOM cards receive free admission for themselves and one guest.

NORTH AMERICAN RECIPROCAL MUSEUM ASSOCIATION

Members of the North American Reciprocal Museum (NARM) Association with current membership cards receive free admission for themselves and one guest.

Current New School/Parsons faculty and students with valid college ID receive one free admission.

Active-Duty Military

Active-duty members of the U.S. military with valid ID receive free admission. Free admission is also extended to military families with dependent cards.

Smithsonian Members
